Nominating Committee - Charge
The committee is composed of three (3) regular members, appointed for
a one (1) year term by the President at least six (6) months prior to
the Annual Meeting. Two (2) regular members, together with the President-Elect
as Chairman, shall serve as the Nominating Committee. The committee
shall:
- Prepare a slate of candidates, one for each vacancy for elective
office, and secure written acceptance of nomination for office from
each candidate.
Announce the slate in the Annual Meeting notice, to be mailed to all
members at least thirty (30) days prior to that meeting.
The Chairman of the committee shall announce the slate at the Annual
Meeting and report any additional nominations received via written
petition. If no additional nominations have been received, the Chairman
will move to accept the slate.
