Description: 

Manages all aspects of a centralized hard copy and electronic library or an information resource center. Managing daily operations of a centralized library or information center, and addressing operational issues to improve the effectiveness and efficiency. Creating policies, procedures and plans for the development and maintenance of library collections. Hiring, training and supervising library staff. Assigning and coordinating tasks and priorities. Overseeing the acquisition, implementation, and maintenance of tools and management systems used in library.

Minimum Qualifications

ALA-accredited MLS degree required. MEDLINE initial and advanced training preferred. MLA certification required or eligibility for certification with 2-3 years of library experience preferred. Minimum of two years management experience preferred.
