Future Leadership Committee - Charge
The AAHSL Future Leadership for Academic Health Sciences Libraries Task Force was appointed by the AAHSL Board in March 2000. The AAHSL Board charged the Task Force to “develop, recommend, and guide the implementation of top priority action plan(s) for recruitment, leadership development, mentoring, (and other areas if applicable) that contribute to AAHSL’s goal of helping place first class leaders in academic health sciences libraries. Consider relevant programs from other organizations and associations either as models or sources and opportunities for collaboration. Recommend outcome measures both short term and long term for assessing program effectiveness.
