Keynote speaker Kenneth Mandl, MD, MPH, will describe critical issues related to the development and implementation of EHRs, including health information technology (HIT) initiatives, meaningful use of electronic health records, and how libraries may be involved in the effort to link evidence to clinical information systems. A panel of librarians and information specialists will then describe efforts at their own institutions to link knowledge-based information (KBI) and services to EHRs.
