New Features Added to the AAHSL Web Site

In February 2008 two new features were added to the association's web site: a Visitor button and a page to honor our 2007 award recipients.  A Visitor button was added to the top navigation bar.  Visitor information is designed to highlight AAHSL documents that would most appeal to deans and other school administrators, health sciences researchers, non-health sciences librarians and other information professionals, and the general public.

Another special feature just added to the web site is a place to honor the 2007 award recipients.  Check this page for the photos of the Cornerstone Award winner, Wayne Peay; the Innovation Award winners, staff from Ohio State University; and the 2007 Matheson Lecturer, Peter Morville, Semantic Solutions.

New Invited Testimonials for Matheson-Cooper Report Anniversary; President's Messages Posted

The first of the invited testimonials honoring the 25th anniversary of publishing the Matheson-Cooper Report by the AAMC are now posted on the anniversary page.  Testimonials have arrived from Don Detmer, MD, President and CEO of the American Medical Informatics Association, and from Carla Funk, Executive Director of the Medical Library Association.

Messages from AAHSL President Linda Watson are now posted as Presidential Messages under the About tab.
