2020 AAHSL Virtual Annual MeetingPricing | Program | Matheson Lecture | Educational Program Registration has closed! The Association of Academic Health Sciences Library (AAHSL) Annual Meeting is held in conjunction with the Association of American Medical Colleges (AAMC) Annual Meeting. While they are held in conjunction, the programs are completely separate this year. The AAHSL Annual Meeting Education Program will take place on November 12 at 2:00 pm EST and the Matheson Lecture will take place on November 13 at 2:00 pm EST. President's Announcement - May 18, 2020On May 14th, the AAMC announced that it will cancel all in-person meetings through June 2021. This includes the Learn Serve Lead 2020 annual meeting scheduled for November in Washington, D.C. As AAHSL meets contiguous with AAMC, the AAHSL Board met this afternoon and voted to hold a virtual meeting. Several members have inquired since last week’s announcement and we wanted to share this decision as soon as possible. We will not meet in-person during 2020. Dates for a virtual meeting format are pending and we will let you know as soon as possible. We’re making an attempt to determine AAMC’s next steps, so that we are not in conflict. The Program and Education Committee will continue to plan the Matheson Lecture and other programming. The AAHSL Board meets mid-June and we will share more information in June. Stay tuned!
