Come Connect and Collaborate at the AAHSL 4th Friday eSalon

Join us at the monthly eSalon! These director-only casual, unstructured discussions will have a general topic each month for attendees to share, brainstorm, and learn from each other. The topics will be geared to the unique needs of those in academic health sciences library leadership and facilitated by AAHSL members. Attendance is optional, free, and open to all AASHL directors.

August 2024 Topic: Health Humanities and/or Wellness Events at the Library

Description: Health humanities and wellness events are so hot right now with faculty starting book clubs and study rooms being converted into communal wellness spaces. But is this more than just a trend? Let’s share both the big and small success stories and common barriers to incorporating the health humanities and/or wellness into our library space and services. This conversation should prove to be useful for both folks just starting out as well as those looking for next steps
