June 27, 2025 | 3:00 PM - 4:00 PM EST

Come Connect and Collaborate at the AAHSL 4th Friday eSalon

Join us at the monthly eSalon! These director-only casual, unstructured discussions will have a general topic each month for attendees to share, brainstorm, and learn from each other. The topics will be geared to the unique needs of those in academic health sciences library leadership and facilitated by AAHSL members. Attendance is optional, free, and open to all AASHL directors.

June 2025 Topic: AI for Me and My Library

Facilitator: Gabe Rios, Library Director, Indiana University School of Medicine

Description: Let's discuss how AI solutions are being implemented in AAHSL libraries to support our work and mission. Examples can include deploying AI chatbots on websites to provide 24/7 support, using AI for budgeting analysis, AI's predictive analytics for collection management, and applying AI in cataloging and metadata activities. Have AI solutions changed staffing needs? Are you using AI in a novel way for your day-to-day work as a library director? Come ready to learn and share your experiences implementing AI for you and your library.
